Luís Machado, Executive Director

Luís Machado has over 15 years of experience in construction and maritime engineering projects. With a background in Civil Engineering and a master in Business Intelligence, he began his career in a construction and infrastructure management company in Portugal and led the expansion of its engineering department to Peru, a position he later combined with the role of Technical Director at a group company dedicated to renewable energy generation. Luís Machado returned to Portugal to lead Etermar's technical area and took on the development of the renewable energy business, culminating in the creation of Etermar Energia.

João Brazão, Commercial Director

João Brazão has more than 12 years of experience managing complex projects of marine works and the installation of offshore renewables. In 2012, he joined a Belgian maritime construction company, where he worked as Project Manager and Engineering Manager on more than 20 projects in 15 different countries, and, in 2022, he completed an MBA. João joined Etermar Energia in May 2024, to develop and implement the company’s commercial strategy in an industrial environment.

Guilherme Lourenço Pinheiro, Chief Financial Officer

With over 25 years of experience in finance, consulting, and executive leadership, Guilherme Lourenço Pinheiro holds a degree in Business Administration and Management. He began his career in 1997, in audit within the Banking & Finance sector of a big4 audit firm, in 2000 joined its Corporate Finance practice, leading several financial consulting projects in sectors ranging from Finance to Automotive and Engineering. Pinheiro also has significant experience in regulated markets, including gas, electricity or telecommunications, as well as in financial and operational restructurings. Since 2013 Pinheiro assumed Board level roles as CFO, CRO and deputy CEO in leading companies in areas such as Sports, Media, Logistics and Industrial sectors. In April 2023, he joined the Etermar Group as Chief Financial Officer, with responsibility over the company’s Financial Management, Human Resources, IT and Strategic Planning.

Luís Cordeiro, Industrial Director

With a degree in Engineering and Production Management, Luís Cordeiro has over 20 years' experience in the management of industrial operations and projects. Throughout his professional career, he has worked in sales and market prospection, operational management and, more recently, was responsible for an industrial business unit specializing in the manufacturing of modular construction systems. Luís Cordeiro’s experience covers various aspects of project lifecycle management, from planning and execution to commercial development and customer relations. Cordeiro joined Etermar in September 2024 as the company’s Industrial Director, leading the Group's industrial production centers.

This commitment applies to the way we operate: through, for example, the installation of more than 1,000 solar panels at Etermar’s facilities, making them more efficient and increasing our energy independence. And also in the way we collaborate with different projects which, using new technologies, seek to find innovative solutions for generating renewable energy in marine environments, contributing to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future
